Villas at Assagao
With this project we intended to design a gated community of 6 premium villas with a tropical rustic theme to ensconce them in the Assagaon landscape that they nestle on. Allowing plenty of natural light and ventilation, we infuse the built with the natural elements on this 2070 m2 site.
Each villa has it’s own independent parking, swimming pool & garden space in addition to 4 bedrooms in a typical holiday home setting. A central garden instills natural light in the interior of the house while the swimming pool is placed to the rear of each villa, overlooking the living room. A typical villa is 2500 ft2, ensuring maximum utilization of space with an overall raw aesthetic appeal.
As part of the design narrative, planter boxes have been introduced on both floor levels to increase green cover and enhance the natural experience. By infusing these green boxes into the living experience of the facade, the line between the row villas are blurred, to create the semblance of nature growing between the villas.
